Choose your own adventure story!

Alright well I decided to do one of these, everyone has read them before so we should all know the rules. Most populat path gets chosen! The story of course will be a nightmarish theme because that's what I'm good at. Will you wake up to see the morning?

You've just checked in to a fabulous California vacation hotel, and it's been a long flight. You trudge down the halls to your room to get a nice rexaling sleep. The bed is soft and comfortable, and you're alseep in no time.

You get off the plane once again, thinking you were just having a little nap on board. However, no one seems to talk or look at you as they hurry away and the airport is quickly deserted. You head for the exit, your footsteps echoing throughout the terminal. You can't shake the feeling that someone is watching you, and you quicken the pace to leave. But right before you reach the door, you hear crying coming from a little behind you, in the hall you just walked past. You...

-Hurry out, you don't like this place.
-Investigate the source, maybe you'll find some company.

You ignore the crying and hurry out of the double doors, speedwalking down a deserted street. The crying turns into frantic screams before being cutoff by a bloodcurdeling roar. You hail an approaching taxi and the sky starts to darken like never before. Black mist seems to seep out of the ground as you get in the cab.
"Where to?" the cabdriver doesn't look at you, just stares blankly ahead.
Slightly relieved, you stammer directions for the hotel before slumping back in the seat and waiting to arrive.

When the hotel finally comes into sight, the black mist seems to cover everything. You pay the cabdriver and hurry inside, the terrifying roar still echoing in your ears. Only one room light is on when you look up at the stories, and you walk cautiously into the hotel lobby. The mist is not present at all in here, and the clarity is quite a contrast. The lobbyist smiles at you, and after checking in, she gives you your room keys and a warning.
"Whatever you do, don't look into room 714, and never knock on the door after dark."
Thinking it strange, you can't help but the wonder why, but the lobbyist gives no answer. Unfortunately, your room is right next to that one, and after a silent ride up the elevator you can't resist. The door seems to draw you close. Hesistating with unlocking your door, you...

-Turn your own doorknob and ignore room 714.
-Take a peek into the eyehole.
-Knock on the door.

i've seen a lot of scary movies in my time. and one thing you learn is to NEVER peek or knock on a strange room right next to yours. so, i will just go in my own hotel room.

You shake the urge to mess with the other door and go into your own room. The room is bright and cheery, and it comforts you. You begin to feel tired, how long have you been awake again? You flop on the bed and check your watch. 6:66, this is odd... A feeling of terror creeps up on you as once again you hear the earsplitting roar from the airport, sending chills down your spine.

You can hear glass shattering and wood breaking as the terrible thing tears into the lobby. The black mist from earlier begins to seep in under your door, and the room grows dim and cold. The roar sounds again, shaking the very building with the power of it's pure anger and hate. It's coming closer too...

What to do? You can hear the unseen beast tumbling like a thunderstorm crashing up the stairs. Now, it's on your floor and coming down the hallway. You...

-Get out through the front room door
-Stay in your room and hide
-Out the window

Well the rational idea would to be to go out the window to avoid whatever was waiting for you outside the door, although going through the front door might prove safer. If your foe is supernatural then I might suggest just staying in your room and waiting to confront, hiding your fear from it in the hopes that it will not think you are weak.

So stay in your room.

You decide to stay inside your room. Covering yourself with the bedsheets instinctively, you wait while supressing your fear, trying to calm yourself. The footsteps steadily come down the hall, closer and closer. *thud... thud... thud, thud, thud thud* They stop right outside your door, and the room around you seems to enlarge, making you seem smaller and increasing your fear.

A small drop of warm liquid drips from the ceiling onto your nose. You wipe it off with a finger and look at it; blood. You look up at the ceiling, and blood is seeping through and dripping steadily down...
down...
down...
to land on your forehead. You struggle to move out of the way, but the covers hold you tighter than shackles as the presence outside the door forces itself into your mind. You look towards the door, which seems impossibly large now, like a towering monolith. The black mist covers the door and then starts spreading further into the room, straight towards your bed.

The feeling of terror grips you and magnifies thousandfold, leaving you paralyzed with fear, your eyes glued to the form slowly rising out of the mist. The gazes at you with eyes that burn like firey embers, and they spew pure hate at you. The blood continues to drip down onto your face, and each time a drop lands the eyes burn with even more intensity and hate.

Finally, it speaks to you. It screams in a voice lined with pure malice, and the room echoes and shakes from the volume.

"WHERE IS SHE?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!?"

It rants and raves, repeating that phrase to you. However, right before the mist making up its form solidfies, you free the arm closest to it. You...

-Snatch out its eyes, the mist seems to be collecting around them.
-Tell it you don't know.
-Point to the other room.
